With his seventh album on the way (scroll down), Ne-Yo releases another single from Good Man. Just in time for the summer, stream Ne-Yo’s “Summertime” above and stay plugged for more from Ne-Yo.

We got new music from Jedi Mind Tricks, Jace, The Foreign Exchange, and MF DOOM.

How the hell did I miss this?! So after dropping a response, “Duppy Freestyle,” to Pusha’s “Infrared,” - nearly 24 hours later - Drake returned just a day later with “I’m Upset.” Serving as the third single from Scorpion. Is this a ploy? Nope, as he said on Instragram, “Anyway… back to this album.” But hold up, Push had the time this week to respond back. Pusha T strikes back at Drake’s “Duppy Freestyle” with a swift kick to the balls in “The Story of Adidon.” Taking over Jay-Z’s “The Story Of O.J.,” Push gets a bit cut throat:

“You are hiding a child, let that boy come home

Deadbeat mothafucka playin’ border patrol, ooh

Adonis is your son

And he deserves more than an Adidas press run, that’s real."

So apparently, Drake has a line with Adidas coming out soon called Adidon where supposedly he would be revealing that he has a son named Adonis. Eh, okay. The pornstar in question is Sophie Brussaux, who apparently lives in Canada with their son… get it? “Playin’ border patrol” - yikes. Push also goes into his arsenal for an attack on Drake’s long time friend and producer E40, and Drake’s parents.

While Push had to explainthat these were not photoshopped, Drake then took to social mediato explain that the photos was back in 2007, “a time in my life where I was an actor… working on a project that was about young black actors struggling to get roles, being stereotyped and type cast.” He goes into how he and a friend were simply trying to "bring awareness to the issues we dealt with all the time as black actors at auditions.” Good enough explanation but Push took with it and ran, making this a Drake - 1, King Push - 2.

While we’re on the topic of Drake and disses, Quentin Miller seems just about tired of being connected to all the drama. While he doesn’t take any shots, he does chime in with “Destiny:”“I’m more than just a prop, you know? Or a pawn. I’m a person too, you now? I didn’t ask for none of this.”Take a listen to the “Destiny” freestyle, and hear how Quentin has just about had enough. I mean, while we are still on the topic, take a listen to Saba’s version of Drake’s “Nice For What."

Like many before him, Plies takes on SZA’s “The Weekend” in his own remixA Boogie, Mac Miller, The Internet, and A$AP Ferghave dropped new music this past week.

With Superfly, the soundtrack and film both on the way, Future drops another single off the album - “Bag.”

Blige, Tiffany Haddish, Ellen DeGeneres, and several more in celebration of women. Watch it here.

With G.O.O.D Summer in full effect, we should remember that G.O.O.D Music started all of this last month with Desiigner’s seven-track project - L.O.D. While he’s already dropped two visuals off the album, Desiigner is back now with another one for “HOOD.”

But back to G.O.O.D Summer… After kicking it off (and stirring some shit with Drake), Pusha T headed to Jimmy Kimmel Live!to perform the first track off of DAYTONA, “If You Know You Know.” A jarring performance, definitely a must watch so check it out.

In April it was announced that Kendrick Lamar was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for DAMN. In a unanimous choice from the Pulitzer music jury, the 30-year-old is the first rapper to win a Pulitzer Prize. He is also the first winner who is not a classical or jazz musician. On Wednesday (May 30th), Kendrick accepted the honor. While not commenting during his acceptance, Kendrick shared his feelings afterward:

“It’s an honor. I’ve been writing my whole life, so to get this type of recognition - it’s beautiful.”

Dancing around themes of religion, love, social injustices, and the circle of life, DAMN. is a genius piece of work that the board has called “a virtuosic song collection unified by its vernacular authenticity and rhythmic dynamism that offers affecting vignettes capturing the complexity of modern African-American life.” Check out the video of Kendrick Lamar accepting the Pulitzer Prize above.
